TON’s second season off to a great start

Our second season of TON launched at CBS on August 27, 2013. We are a varied and multi-disciplinary group from across industries. Our members this season include: ECCO, Ferring, Carlsberg, Takeda, Arla, Danish Crown, LEO, COWI, Xellia Pharmaceuticals, FLSAirtech, GN, Danske Bank, Vestas and IO Interactive.

The day kicked off with perspective from Jeffrey Saunders of the Copenhagen Institute for Future Studies on the future of work. Moving from that very broad focus to a more detailed look at collaborating across companies, Tucker George from IO Interactive, contributed with his experience from both IO Interactive and Disney Interactive.

We worked through three challenges presented by some of our members. They included challenges in renegotiation; deciding what and how much to outsource; and obtaining internal buy-in for outsourcing. Our presenting members were Danske Bank, FLSAirtech and Vestas. The challenges sessions proved to be a robust and fertile source of sparring which greatly leveraged the substantial combined experience of our members.
